WEBSITE CASE STUDY

Rebuilding MIRC’s Digital Presence

MIRC Construction Services has decades of construction experience, an extensive portfolio of completed work, and an established reputation in West Virginia — particularly in healthcare construction.

The goal was to create a new website that better represents the company it has become: clearly presenting MIRC’s three companies, construction capabilities, leadership, and project experience while preserving the search visibility established by the previous website.

The result is a comprehensive, project-driven website built around MIRC’s actual work, experience, and market position.

Built From a Construction Perspective

Construction experience shaped every part of the MIRC website redesign. Rather than approaching the project as a typical marketing website, ACG organized the site around how contractors, owners, design professionals, and potential clients actually evaluate a construction company.

MIRC’s services, three operating companies, leadership, healthcare expertise, and extensive project history were brought into a clearer structure that makes the company’s capabilities easier to understand and its experience easier to explore.

That construction perspective also guided the content itself — from project descriptions and service positioning to terminology, photography, and the information emphasized throughout the site.

FROM EXPERIENCE TO DIGITAL STRUCTURE

Organizing Decades of Experience

MIRC had far more experience than its previous website effectively communicated. The challenge wasn’t creating a story from scratch — it was organizing decades of construction experience into a website that made that story clear.

The new site was structured around MIRC’s three operating companies, core construction capabilities, leadership, healthcare expertise, and extensive project portfolio.

BUILDING AROUND THE WORK
Completed projects became a central part of the website, with individual project pages developed to demonstrate MIRC’s experience through actual completed work.

CLEARER COMPANY STRUCTURE
MIRC Construction Services, MIRC CM Services, and MIRC Development were given distinct positions within one unified website.

PRESERVING SEARCH VISIBILITY
Existing content, URLs, and established search visibility were considered throughout the redevelopment, with redirects and search-focused page structure incorporated into the transition.

THE RESULT

A Website That Reflects MIRC Today

The new MIRC website brings the company’s services, experience, leadership, and completed work together in one cohesive digital platform. What had previously been difficult to discover is now organized around the information prospective clients, partners, and project stakeholders are most likely to evaluate.

From healthcare construction and individual project profiles to MIRC’s three operating companies, the website provides a much more complete picture of the organization and the depth of its experience.

SEARCH VISIBILITY & TRANSITION

Protecting What MIRC Had Already Earned

MIRC’s previous website had established valuable search visibility, particularly within healthcare construction in West Virginia. Redeveloping the site meant improving its structure and presentation without unnecessarily sacrificing that existing position.

The redevelopment included a planned URL transition, redirects from legacy pages, search-focused page titles and descriptions, improved content hierarchy, and dedicated pages built around MIRC’s services, markets, companies, and project experience.

Rather than treating search optimization as something added after the website was complete, SEO considerations were incorporated into the structure of the site throughout development.
