WEBSITE CASE STUDY

CIMCO Inc. Website Redesign

CIMCO Inc. needed a modern website that clearly presented its commercial HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, service, and regional capabilities across West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. The redesigned site was developed to organize CIMCO’s services, strengthen its digital presence, and make it easier for clients to understand the company’s capabilities, experience, and service coverage.

The project also required a clearer structure for CIMCO’s growing range of services, including commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, plumbing, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, and medical gas piping. The new website organizes these capabilities around how commercial clients actually search for and evaluate mechanical contractors while establishing a stronger regional presence throughout the Tri-State.

Built From a Construction Perspective

CIMCO’s website needed to communicate more than a list of services. The structure had to reflect how commercial clients actually evaluate a mechanical contractor—by capability, service depth, project experience, responsiveness, and regional coverage.

ACG organized the website around CIMCO’s core commercial services, including HVAC, mechanical construction, plumbing, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, and medical gas piping. The goal was to make each capability easier to understand while giving prospective clients a clearer picture of the company’s experience and service range.

Construction knowledge also shaped the terminology, page hierarchy, project presentation, and regional content throughout the site. Rather than treating CIMCO like a generic service business, the website was developed around the way commercial construction and facility clients actually search for and assess mechanical contractors.

FROM CAPABILITIES TO DIGITAL STRUCTURE

Organizing a Complex Service Offering

CIMCO had a broad range of mechanical and service capabilities that needed to be presented more clearly online. The challenge was not creating services from scratch—it was organizing those capabilities into a structure that commercial clients could quickly understand.

The new site was built around CIMCO’s core services, regional coverage, project experience, and commercial market focus, creating a clearer path from initial search to the specific service a client may need.

BUILDING AROUND THE WORK
Completed projects became an important part of the site, giving prospective clients real examples of CIMCO’s experience across commercial, healthcare, institutional, and industrial work.

CLEARER SERVICE STRUCTURE
HVAC, mechanical construction, plumbing, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, medical gas piping, and related services were organized into a more intuitive hierarchy.

PRESERVING SEARCH VISIBILITY
Existing content and legacy URLs were reviewed during redevelopment, with redirects and search-focused page structure incorporated into the transition.

THE RESULT

A Website That Reflects CIMCO Today

The redesigned CIMCO website brings the company’s services, project experience, regional coverage, and commercial capabilities together in one cohesive digital platform. Information that had previously been difficult to navigate is now organized around the services and experience prospective clients are most likely to evaluate.

From commercial HVAC and mechanical construction to plumbing, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, medical gas piping, and completed project experience, the website provides a clearer picture of CIMCO’s capabilities and the depth of its service offering.

SEARCH VISIBILITY & TRANSITION

Building a Stronger Search Foundation

CIMCO’s previous website had limited structure, thin service presentation, and little support for service-specific or regional search visibility. The redevelopment created a much stronger foundation by organizing the site around CIMCO’s actual capabilities, markets, and geographic service area.

The new structure introduced clearer service pages, stronger page titles and descriptions, improved internal organization, and content focused on how commercial clients search for mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler, chiller, refrigeration, and related services.

Legacy URLs were still reviewed and redirected where appropriate, but the primary objective was not simply preserving the old site’s visibility—it was building a more useful, search-focused website capable of supporting future growth.

SEARCH PERFORMANCE

STRONGER SERVICE STRUCTURE
Dedicated service pages replaced a much thinner legacy presentation.

REGIONAL SEARCH FOUNDATION
The new site was structured around West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio service coverage.

SEARCH-FOCUSED DEVELOPMENT
Page structure, metadata, service terminology, and internal linking were incorporated into the redevelopment from the beginning.

BUILT FOR FUTURE GROWTH
The redesigned website created a stronger foundation for service-specific and regional search visibility as indexing developed.
